Business Area Network’s goal is strengthening end-to-end development of our market leading products, simplify the development flows and processes, empower our developer community, and ensure our sustainable long-term competitiveness by aligning technology and strategy. Hardware Engineering is one of the three new Engineering Units in Business Area Networks, responsible for the end-to-end development for our Hardware products such as Radios and Transport products, including ASIC and FPGA development, as well as optimization of integrated software development flows.
Product Engineering Unit RU Software is a unit with the exciting role to put SW on the HW map. We are a distributed team, dedicated to lead SW development for the Radio portfolio with clear interfaces towards Integrated RAN and Cloud RAN. We are in the process of forming the organization, built on key competences, innovation and collaboration for business and technology leadership. Product Engineering Unit RU Software’s role is to bridge Radio, ASIC and RAN development, evolving the RU SW architecture closely with DU SW architecture while supporting MS-RBS and Cloud-RAN needs.
About this opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Test Manager at System and Test Management team, who is eager to work with developing testing strategies, evolving test setup for future for state of art Radio products supporting all mobile technology generations. You will belong to System and Test Management team responsible for developing, implementing & supporting XFT teams with Radio software Test strategy.
You have experience from testing software and eager to understand how it all testing aspects fits together to ensure that requirements are tested & fulfilled before delivering a product. You know how to take complex problems and explain/describe in simple way so that more people can understand and break them down such that solving them becomes straightforward. You are organized and determined and able to turn ideas into concrete solutions.

What you will do
· Developing, evolving, implementing, and maintaining Radio Software test strategies specifically focusing on CI/CD on Radio product level as well as on RAN solution level.
· Assures that the flow unit ‘a feature' goes through its life cycle ' CA- PD - maintenance' with the most efficient test coverage focusing on flow and quality of the unit and the product.
· Defining and maintaining test scope for Radio Software Conformation and Node level testing.
· Aligning Radio software way of working with other stakeholders.
· Build, align, deploy, and enforce test strategy.
· Evolve test WoW (propose, drive, support improvements)
· Ensure early test and development tool strategy and build tool requirements.
The skills you bring
· Education: M.Sc. or equivalent.
· Min years of experience: 5 years for software testing experience.
· Testing, troubleshooting, problem solving, E2E & system thinking.
· Experience with HW & SW integration methodologies.
· Leadership (previous OPO, team lead, or customer engagement experience is a plus)
· Lean and Agile knowledge and skills, value driven development attitude, testability and test-driven development
· Working with people, networking, facilitation, negotiation skills. Teamwork and collaboration skills
· Excellent technical communication skills, both written and oral
· Fluent in English
To be successful in the role one must have
· Knowledge of Radio (HW, SW) portfolio and functions, JCAT & test automation, CI/CD.
· Knowledge of eNodeB / gNodeB, transport network protocols & interfaces, NSV QA’s.
· Product development processes and methods, anatomy-based planning, product lifecycle management knowledge
· Ability to perform test analysis, evaluate test results, and produce a verdict. Define test strategies based on best test methodologies/concepts.
