About this Opportunity:
Are you a highly skilled IT Security Professional looking to make a significant impact? Ericsson AB are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise IT Security Architect to join our dynamic and diverse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust security architectures that protect our enterprise systems from cyber threats.
This role requires a deep understanding of security architecture and principles, technologies, and best practices, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of our IT environment. The role also requires a deep understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and principles.

You will join the team in GFGO IT Security & Compliance called “IT Security Certification & Architecture”. We operate with the CIO mandate, securing that all IT Products are security certified before being released. Our team of 20 IT Security Professionals is located across the globe, with the majority in Sweden and India. This role reports to the Head of IT Security Architecture. What you will do
- Serve as an Enterprise IT security architect and trusted advisor to all IT Owners across the company.
- Ensure alignment between security architecture frameworks and standards and overall business strategy.
- Develop comprehensive security architectures for enterprise systems.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify threats and risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate security measures into system designs and processes.
- Stay up to date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats.
- Provide guidance and support to IT teams on security-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Creating architectural patterns to ensure secure and scalable IT systems, this includes:
- Designing security architecture blueprints that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Developing reusable security patterns and frameworks to address common security challenges.
- Ensuring architectural patterns are integrated into the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure secure coding practices are followed.
Skills you bring
- MSC, MBA, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Security Architect or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27000, NIST, etc., and a solid grasp of ISO 27000 controls.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technical controls for Access Control, Communication Security, Operations Security, Cloud Security, and Network Architecture.
- Apply risk management principles in an IT security context.
- Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
- Cloud security experience is required.
- Experience with Zero Trust security models is required
Valuable Experience:
- Experience in a similar role within a large, complex organization.
- Experience with regulatory requirements such as SOX, information security, or IT security standards.
As a person you are:
- Ability to communicate successfully with a broad cross-section of partners to explain security measures and stay ahead of emerging security threats.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Analytical skills with an understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security vulnerabilities
