About this opportunity:

Data management and Security in RAN Production System is a central function in the Engineering Environment Ecosystem of RAN to ensure that data, as a strategic asset, is life cycle managed, secure, quality-assured, and available for various use cases and technologies while adhering to Ericsson’s Data, AI/ML and compliance standardsThe ability to drive needed data and security transformations is key to enabling AI-driven insights, which provide strategic value and assure competitive solutions.The RAN production system is the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) system used to build, package, test and deliver Ericsson RAN software from a single code change to release as an Ericsson product in a fully automated deployment called Main track. The system as of today delivers 2G to 5G, including CloudRAN, on all applicable HW platforms.

What you will do:

- Develop and oversee the execution of a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with one-RAN and broader organizational objectives. This includes data collection, processing, analysis, and storage policies that ensure data quality and accessibility, i.e. overall Data Governance.

- Aligning strategies, integrating data and AI solutions and optimizing processes to ensure seamless working between R&D IT and Business Units, thus expanding horizons to innovate and operate efficiently. 

- Spearhead the development and deployment of AI and machine learning models (MLOps) to optimize PLM process across the organization.

- Collaborate and maintain security measures to protect data and AI systems, oversee risk assessments, enforce data protection protocols, and lead security incident responses (in need). Work with internal teams and cross organization to accommodate and integrate security best practices.

- Drive innovation within the segment by identifying and implementing cutting-edge data management and AI use cases (MVP’s). Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to maintain a competitive edge.

- Mentor & Grow a team skilled in data and system management and AI technologies. Foster a culture of continuous learning and adaptability to new technologies and methodologies.

- Ensure all data management and AI initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and ethical standards, particularly regarding data privacy, security, and AI fairness.

- Device mechanisms for continuous monitoring and analysis of ‘AI and data management initiatives' performance. Use insights to optimize data governance and AI effectiveness.

- Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders, including executive leadership, to ensure transparency and alignment with organizational goals.

The skills you bring:

- Experience as technical leader of sophisticated technical organizations in a multi-stakeholder environment.

- Demonstrated experience in data management and security of scale.

- Demonstrated experience in SW Development of RAN AI/ML and LLM Technics.

- Deep knowledge in Data Management and Security methods.

- Demonstrate knowledge of Security and privacy standards, and frameworks (e.g. NIST, NCSC, Cyber Resilience Act and similar).

- Passion for driving technology leadership to reach set targets.

- Highly developed Communication and Collaboration skills.

- Critical thinking with an analytical, structured and result-oriented approach.

- Strong analytical skills 

- Proficient language skills in written and spoken English.

- Experience supporting and working across organizations.
