About this opportunity:

Join the Algorithms Team in Kista within Ericsson's TPM and PEU Radio unit, focused on developing advanced radio near algorithms. This team plays a key role in the entire product development cycle, from pre-development and design to validation and verification of digital signal processing algorithms in ASIC, Soft DFE, and FPGA. We seek a talented individual to help shape and advance our next-generation algorithmic solutions, using FPGA prototyping and low level software for validation. Our main focus area is power amplifier linearization utilizing digital pre-distortion (DPD). 

Within radio near algorithms, we are now looking for an experienced leader providing technical leadership and coordination. This role has a main focus in pre-development and early phases of ASIC development utilizing rapid prototyping to secure specification and performance of radio near algorithms. 

Your will lead teams including technical experts responsible for early phases algorithms development and rapid prototyping. Some of your tasks, among others, will be to define tasks, plan, coordinate and follow up the team's work, align with stakeholders and guide the teams in developing re-usable software and tools. You will also frequently coordinate and work close with other development areas such as power amplifier and TRXIC. 

What you will do:

• Lead algorithm rapid prototyping activities including HW and SW 
• Planning, follow up and reporting of rapid prototyping activities 
• Stakeholder communication and collaboration 

The skills you bring:

• M.Sc, B.Sc. or above 
• Previous experience in leading soft- and/or hardware development teams 
• Change leadership, ability to motivate change in large organizations 
• Ability to build networks and positive relationships across the organization 
• Strong communication & negotiation skills 
• Strong accountability and autonomy 
• Previous experience in technical project management 
• Experience in digital signal processing algorithms development 
• Quality and efficiency minded, analytical thinking 

Additional valuable skills 

• Experience with FPGA implementation is a strong plus 
• Familiarity with radio/digital HW design is a strong plus 
• Vetting including references and relevant background screening will be conducted for final candidates.
